Charlie has been working for small companies since 1999 when he left the charitable sector to take up a role in a communications company. Since then he has started and managed two small communication companies, been a director of a small property company and recently co-founded Atticus Partners. Over his career he has advised more than 50 SME’s on their policy and PR requirements which has given him a huge insight into what SME’s require from government to work effectively and create employment and growth. He has coupled this experience with being a member of the Labour Party for 26 years and was a borough councillor in Hammersmith and Fulham from 2002-06.
