Haven spoken to businesses in Luton, I know it’s been an incredibly tough year for SMEs and the people who work so hard to keep them going. 16 million people working in SMEs are anxious, after such an unprecedented year, about what the future might bring. We’ve seen countless people and businesses excluded from support, being left to fight this pandemic and protect their business on their own.
That’s why the work that SME4Labour has done over the last year has been so important. Building and strengthening that relationship between Labour and those small, medium, micro, owner and family-run businesses – the people who run them and the people who work in them – will be so important as we try and chart a path to government.
