As the MP for the heart of the city of Liverpool, I know just how valuable SMEs are in creating wealth in our region, and helping boost our visitor economy. Yet the pandemic has shown that so many of our independent retailers, creatives, hospitality businesses and their supply chains have been overlooked when it comes to Government support. The SMEs that make up so much of Liverpool’s economy need SME4Labour to support them, fight for them, and help them – and our local economy – prosper.
