SMEs are the lifeblood of the British economy and I am proud to stand in support of them and all the vital work that SME Labour has done to safeguard these businesses across a myriad of sectors. This has been a tough year for everyone and there are very few people who have been hit harder by the Coronavirus pandemic than small and medium sized business owners and their staff. I am proud of the work that the Welsh Labour government have done to provide support to these businesses, whilst I have pushed hard in Parliament to ensure that support measures are made available to businesses, employers and staff across the UK. The rollout of the vaccine provides hope that soon this darkness will lift and businesses will come back stronger than ever. For those who have sadly lost their livelihoods as a consequence of this pandemic, you have my word that I will do everything I can to help you to rebuild, to find stability and prosperity.
