SME4Labour do fantastic work as a strong voice for small and medium-sized businesses across the length and breadth of Britain. Small businesses are the lifeblood of our communities and many have really stepped up to the mark during the COVID-19 pandemic. Businesses in my local area, as well as across the country, have dedicated their time to ensure the most vulnerable among us have access to food and essential goods without having to leave their home. These businesses have selflessly given themselves to the pandemic effort despite going through unimaginable levels of uncertainty and worry themselves.
Scottish Labour, and the UK Labour Party as a whole, are committed to rebuilding the economy and protecting the rights of small business and I look forward to continuing to have a strong relationship with SMEs in the future.
