Every part of our society and our economy has faced challenges over the last 18 months and just as our small and medium size businesses are different so they have all faced different challenges during these difficult times. There is no doubt that our recovery as a country will be driven by the many businesses and individuals who make up the SME sector but how that recovery is shaped will also depend on how we as politicians engage with those businesses and individuals so that we see growth that is dynamic, inclusive and sustained. Organisations like SME for Labour help provide an invaluable role by creating the opportunity for that dialogue.
