Small and medium sized businesses have always been vital to our local communities. This was especially true during the pandemic. When allowed to operate, they provided a life-line to many local people. That was certainly the case in Lambeth. Yet many SMEs and the self-employed, hit by Covid-19, have been badly let down by the lack of Tory government support. I’m very impressed by the work of SME4LABOUR in giving them a strong voice.
