We have seen throughout the pandemic how it is the SME sector that has suffered some of the worst financial hits and some of the saddest human tragedies. Far too many small and family run businesses that have been the backbone of their community have been forced to close. And as they go, local jobs and prosperity vanishes with them.
Your work at SME4Labour in being their voice to us in parliament and ensuring that Labour is calling for SME friendly policies from a government that all too often seems to have ears only for the big corporations, is a vital service not only to business, but to the two thirds of families in this country whose jobs and livelihood depends upon the SME sector.
