I have been at the centre of the fight for social justice all my adult life – for racial equality, for celebration of our diverse communities and economic opportunity for all. BA in Informal & Community Education, Canterbury Christ Church University College. I am currently the Director of Community Relations and Public Affairs at LabTech London Limited – which owns the famous Camden Market – a community hub and place for small businesses and entrepreneurs.
As a former Councillor 2006 – 2022 in Camden, I have sought to make local government legitimate and relevant in the eyes of the public, creating bridges between the many diverse communities. I represented King’s Cross Ward and held various Cabinet positions. Board Member of Camden Town Unlimited (Business Improve District 2019-present) and Co-chair of Camden Council Youth Safety Taskforce (2017-present).
